Bethany K. Patton, MSW is a graduate of Spring Arbor University and completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan in 1991. Since then she has enjoyed working with young adults, adults and senior adults in various settings—including private practice counseling and medical social work with hospice and dialysis patients and families. She has taught on the high school and college levels.
Beth utilizes person-centered therapy from a systems perspective and strengths-based perspective as well as other theory based approaches. She especially enjoys addressing issues of personal growth, coping with depression, anxiety and loss (including illness and aging), women’s issues and marital/relationship concerns.
Additionally, Beth holds certification in Spiritual Direction from the Dominican Center for Religious Development and she enjoys exploring the integration of faith in life with those clients who so wish. She is fully licensed in Clinical Social Work. In her spare time she loves playing with her grandsons.
