Our team consists of licensed professionals from a variety of backgrounds and specializations, allowing us to find the best fit for every clients’ needs.

Psychological Evaluations

We offer diagnostic evaluations for a variety of mental health conditions including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and personality disorders, as well as assessments to determine need for adult guardianship. We do not specialize in, or offer educational evaluations, testing for learning disabilities, trauma assessments, or parenting capability assessments. 

 We are able to bill HAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, and Priority Health for psychological evaluations. In some cases, an authorization from your insurance company is required. Please call to have your insurance verified and to make an appointment. If we do not accept your insurance, we are happy to refer you to another practice. Psychological testing is a specialty service and under most plans is subject to deductible. Clients are responsible for paying deductible and copay amounts.

To begin services as a new client:

Please call our office at 517-750-3869. Our receptionist will need the following information from you:

• Name of person seeking counseling
• Date of birth of person seeking counseling
• Contact information including phone number and email address
• Insurance information including insurance company, subscriber number, group number, name of main subscriber on plan, and date of birth for that person

We are not typically able to schedule your first appointment upon your initial call. Your information is taken and when an opening becomes available that meets your needs and preferences we will reach out to you.

• We accept many of the major insurance plans including but not limited to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, HAP, Priority Health, Aetna, and some Medicaid products. Give us a call to check your insurance benefits with us.
• We will bill your insurance on your behalf. However, it is important for you to know your deductible, copays, and any services your insurance company refuses to pay. The initial intake appointment (first session) is $200. All following sessions are billed at $160.
• Copayment, deductible amounts, and coinsurance are due on each date of service. 
• You may pay by credit card, check, or cash either directly with your therapist, our office staff, via our patient portal, or through the home page of our website.
